One of the best things about having a podcast is being able to share my beloved friends and colleagues with the rest of the world. I can’t say that my life has been all smooth sailing, but the number of truly phenomenal human beings I have accumulated as chosen family in the last 30 years is improbable. Rachel is one of those people, and if you took lessons or one of her courses at Tamarack, you know why. I hope you’ll enjoy this episode: we talk about all kinds of stuff, including teaching, learning, her path on the cello and eventually becoming a professional doubler on guitar, her entry into Broadway, including her first all-guitar gig for the hit musical SIX. With a CV as robust as hers, she’d have every right to be aloof and imperious, but you know that’s not how we roll in this house. Kindred spirits* only, thank you. ☺️

*yes, this is an Anne of Green Gables reference. PEI and wide brimmed hats forever!
