I love these, Emily! I’m going to buy the “chop wood, carry water” one because my keyboard looks nothing like a guitar and I don’t want to confuse people any more than necessary. xx

Hey Mike! Long time no see! I also have “Chop Wood Carry Water” and “No, I don’t wish I played a smaller instrument”. Aside from “Is that an gee-tarr??” I always get dudes looking at me with pity saying, “Don’t you wish you played the piccolo?”
Nothing against the piccolo…it’s a pretty sweet instrument..but no. If anything, I’d go bassoon, or piano, or harp. 🙂
I made some others that were supposed to be f-holes (good sight gag, right?), but being a genius:
1) I made them all face the same direction. Good move.
2) The image shrank, and now it’s more viola or 1/4 cello sized. Ah well. Good for the @NBrockmann contingent though. 🙂
So I’m making more of those. And a few others for fun.

Does that $5 include shipping? Discounts for ordering more than one?
Yeah, I definitely need one of those to put on my ca-oh, uhh, wait a minute.
MT: I think the $5 will include shipping. And maybe once things get rolling, there will be a discount for multiples. As/is, they cost me $4 each to make, so I don’t want to lose money on the deal. But I get a discount for making more, too.
OC: I will make one for you that says, “No it’s not a cello” if you like. 🙂
October – if you put one on your guitar case, it will be all dada-ist, like “this is not a pipe”, which would be pretty awesome, but then you’d have to answer stupid questions from random strangers, which is the opposite of the point of these stickers.
Oddly enough, I haven’t had that question since I got the fancy case. Total strangers on public transpo totally want to talk cello with me. It’s made me feel very popular. I will still get one, and the one I found on CafePress, with the Klingon Empire symbol, a cello, and the caption “Today is a good day to practice. Qa’Pla!”
I think I need to get 4 before the website goes up. I can think of a few people who would enjoy them. No discount, I understand. Interested? I think you have my RL e-mail.

Emily – sorry I've been MIA. I've been incredibly busy lately – I'm playing in/with 3 bands and trying to get employment driving taxis & doing other various things … recently went up to Rochester as well for non-music reasons (which is a good 6 hrs. from where I live).
I'll try and update when I get a chance..
