Through the magic of Twitter, I was contacted by the fabulous English composer Alison Wrenn, who wanted some stick-figure illustrations for her book of beginning cello trios. Of course, I couldn’t resist. They just went on sale here, and are great for beginners and intermediate cellists who are looking to work on ensemble skills. I’m thrilled with the results, and hope this isn’t the last time I get to do this kind of work.
Special thanks to hot mama Lisa Hanson Bartholow for sending Alison my way!

A fond hello to Lisa! We went to school together many years ago.
Elaine: I’m off to enjoy your amazing blogs! So nice to find you!
And who draws the best stick peeps in the kingdom?!? All hail emilycello!!! (I like the peeking bunnies!)
Hi Elaine!! I’m rather glad you said “many years” and not “many, many years…!”
Actually, Emily, you may have established a new school of art. They’re not exactly stick figures, I think they’re more “stick and blob figures”.
