I have been cleared into the audition process. Now the epic battle with Mr. Juan can truly commence. Ah, the small but relentless tenor of added pressure makes everything just a little bit more…intense. For instance, my day today, which would be quite mundane now looks like this:

1) wake up, with intensity

2) make intense coffee

3) wash dishes, thinking intense thoughts

4) tidy up what appears to be an ever more intense house

5) teach students, reminding them to be intense

6) drive home, trying to avoid intense traffic

7) avoid music stand with intense tone poem on it

8) resign to said tone poem and practice intently

9) resume intensity after practice

10) look for small intense Grey cat
